Jack Frost nipping at my nose...

... and my ears, had I not forgotten to take my hat when I went out this morning. It is COLD! But what better to warm up with than freshly baked cookies? Sarah made oatmeal/craisin/chocolate chunk last night. They were heavenly. And heaven is just where the poor wooden spoon will rest.

They were so delicious. For the record, cranberry + chocolate = bliss.

Carlye made me a pretty rainbow picture to enjoy with my cookie:

Sarah also made these Bake With Me gluten-free brownies from Arrowhead Mills. You have to try these out if only for the instructions on the back of the box... they're so cute!

The brownies were fantastic. They have warm and melty chocolate chips in the center, so they have that fudgy home-baked taste.

The treats went perfectly with the indulgence that is Gossip Girl... we had a mini-marathon and watched some episodes from Season 1. Remember when Nate and Blair were dating? Oh, the good ole days...

I was so excited to have waffles for breakfast I only pressed snooze twice (ha). I only had a nonfat peach fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt left, so I actually didn't need to use honey (but I did anyway). I topped the waffles with banana and walnuts as well... Parfait!

Time to caffeinate and pump out this last paper... Have a great Thursday!
