Greetings from the Tundra

I woke up before my alarm this morning after a surprisingly little amount of sleep, wide awake. It was pretty easy to get out of bed without having to worry about what to make for breakfast... all I had to do was take my overnight oats out of the fridge!

I used:

1/2 cup steel cut oats
1/2 cup skim milk
1 veeeery ripe banana
canned pumpkin
almond butter
walnuts
brown sugar

Sarah and I, soon to be joined by Miss Jalene, are sitting in the too-cute-for-its-own-good Nina's getting an early start on the weekend's work. What good little students we are!

I'm having a Vermont latte (maple syrup, espresso, skim milk). I've been eying their biscottis... they're homemade and look amazing. I don't know if I'll be able to hold out.

This is the first day the snow has really stuck. Hope you're not snowed in!
