Poetry and sugar donuts

It's turning into quite a sniffly day here... I'm such a pansy about the cold! I do love snow, but I wish it would be just a teensy bit later. We don't get many snow days in college, much less in Minnesota!

I got lunch in the cafeteria today, since I won't be eating there tonight. I started with a salad of spinach, cabbage, carrots, chickpeas, beets and broc, with a couple stalks of celery. I forgot the dressing, so I just ate it dry, but I didn't quite finish it.

Fried tofu with A1 and 57 sauces, and a little roasted red pepper hummus for the celery.

Mushroom barley soup :

I had a meeting with my poetry professor to go over a review I'm writing on Kali's Blade (it's been in the background of a few posts for the past couple weeks... that's it there). She had donuts from A Baker's Wife in Minneapolis waiting! I chose a sugar one, and I am positive I made the right choice. I haven't had a donut in so long, and this was delicious and well worth it.

Two more classes (well, the only two I have today!) and I'm done for today. I'll be home in two weeks (336 hours, not that I'm counting)!

I would have gone with the sugar donut, too!

Oh and the pumpkin vinaigerette was not my own recipe (I think you asked about it on my blog) so here is the link http://megansmunchies.blogspot.com/2008/11/black-beans-and-rice-with-pumpkin.html
