The headbone's connected to the neckbone

I slept in until 10 this morning and it was glorious. I think I was having some pretty weird dreams; when I woke up the covers were all twisted around me and half on the floor.

I'm starting to get some pain in my left hand that is no doubt from the crutches. The only part that's slightly worrying to me is that it begins at the base joint of my thumb and pinky, and I don't want that to turn into something else. There's an article in the Times today about bone injuries and how they difficult they can be to diagnose. I'm really lucky my fracture showed up on the x-ray- the nurse told me it might be too early to detect anything, and when the doctor looked at the slides it only showed up on one out of the four. So hopefully I'm doing everything I need to do, and will be off these things in a couple weeks (two from today, not that I'm counting down).

Last night the Oreo craving hit me full on. I only wanted to have one, but as always happens with Oreos, I keep wanting to go back for more. So I had a Fig Newman afterwards, hoping to kill of that taste of chocolatey goodness... and it worked! I'll have to remember this in the future.

This morning I had a bowl of Kashi Go Lean and Autumn Harvest, with a sliced banana and a couple crushed pecans. My vanilla soy milk had been open a little too long, so I used it up in my cereal. The overall combination was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but still tasty.

I'm off to shower and get ready for class. Only two more school days to go before Fall Break!
