Rip van Winkel

I slept for almost 12 hours last night... and that doesn't include the time I spent snoozing during the day. Whew! I'm starting to get a little sick of oatmeal (blasphemy, I know) so instead I made some strawberries and cream cereal: I microwaved some frozen strawberries in a little skim milk, then added GoLean and Autumn Harvest.

Jalene doesn't really drink the coffee, so I've already gone through an entire canister! This new one looked interesting:

My mom pointed me to this editorial by Margaret Atwood in the Times today. She relates several literary references to the current financial crisis (Dante, Madame Bovary, The House of Mirth) and imagines a world in which we will all coexist peacefully and "debt finally won't matter."
